"We don't need you to protect us." The way the guitarist snapped suggested that was a sore spot in his ego.

"No." Davy downed the drink and pushed the stool away. "But I know you're too fucking arrogant to listen to that."

Davy headed toward the back and expected the singer to follow him right out to the SUV in the alley out back.

"I know you don't. Just saying we're around to help fight off assholes. We all have to deal with them in this business."

Was Sven just going to watch the boy walk away? No fucking way. The tarty attitude was just part of who Davy was and it wasn't about to cause Sven to turn his back. He was too into the boy now.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm an arrogant bastard."

Downing his own drink, Sven just shot Davy a look as he got up and followed the guitarist out to the SUV.

He got into the car without a word but did unlock the door so Sven could get in.

"I suppose you're going to want my couch for the night too?" The tarty is there but Davy figures Sam is going to head off with Syn and the others for the night. He wasn't used to hanging around alone. One of the young band members were always there.

Sven followed without saying anything because he was trying to judge where Davy was going with this and how he felt about having the Swede for company.

"I wouldn't mind if you're offering."

The Swede was thinking bed but that was being too forward and it was up to Davy if he wanted to let the singer in. Pushing a hand through his bleach blond hair, Sven offered the guitarist a smile.

Davy scoffed at his response and started the car. He's trying to keep from feeling anything and hopes Joey hasn't drank all the booze in his apartment.

"You're a stupid fucking blonde aren't you?" Davy was still sassing the singer but the tone isn't as angry as it had been. His instinct is to just shove Sven out of the car in the side of the road but he refrains for now. At least this guy kept his hands to himself.

"Not so much stupid fucking blond but persistent bitch."

Sven flashed a smile at the guitarist and wasn't going to be beaten. He liked the boy and wasn't going to take no for an answer at all tonight. Fuck no. The Swede was going to try and behave himself whilst Davy drove for reasons.

"I've been called many things in my life but not from a cute, pouty bitch-lipped boy like you."

Davy rolled his eyes and kept driving. He had enough but as soon as the word bitch came out of Sven's mouth he smacked him in the face. It's not that hard but certainly hard enough to sting and pink his cheeks.

"I warned you." He glanced at Sven and frowned. "Next time bitch comes out I'm bloodying your mouth."

It's harsh but almost playful despite the guitarist being absolutely serious.

Sven let out a small yelp at the smack but it had been coming all evening because the blond had been teasing Davy calling him a bitch. Ok, so it didn't hurt but more it caught the Swede off guard. He was rubbing his cheek slightly.

"Ok, so I deserved that one. Can I call you a cute tart then?"

He didn't want to earn more slaps, more just be playful with the boy.

"I do have a name." Davy was focused on driving but they didn't have far to go since he lived in South LA. He might well earn more of them over time. There was a reason Princess was thrown around. He had grown accustomed to that because it came from friends and that was ok, though the list of people who could use it without also getting slapped was limited.

"HOw long are you in hte US?" Davy asked just because he was cuious.

"Davy the cutie."

Sven just knew never to call Davy a bitch again unless he wanted a bruised jaw. The guitarist was such a tarty brat and the Swede couldn't help but love him for it. Looking out the window as they drove, Sven turned to Davy.

"We're not sure yet. The tour is taking a time out at the moment."

The name got a tarty grumble from the guitarist but he would endure that name if had to.

It wasn't too long before Davy was pulling up in front of a row of buildings that all looked similar. Each had a first floor and second floor apartment. Davy had a second floor apartment which sucked for carrying gear.

"I was just wondering how long I was going to have to put up with you following me around." There was almost humor in his voice but not quite as he got out of the car. They had all the gear. The guitars, bass, drum kit, mics and even a couple amps all crammed into the back. With the humidity and heat in LA leaving them outside for a week wasn't good. Never mind someone might steal it.

The grumble was cute and Sven kept thoughts to himself as he got out of the car with Davy. The singer knew all about lugging kit around because he'd done it for years now with his own band.

"Well, sorry, sweetie but I think you're hot. I can help lug shit up if you want, I'm used to it."

Sven wasn't budging. He wanted to spend time with Davy and get to know the tarty guitarist.

Davy went around the back to open the hatchback. He gave Sven a scowling look. "Well, you better because you can't stand around here and look pretty when I'm the pretty one."

Davy grabbed his guitars and slug them on his back before heading to the apartment to unlock the door. They had to hike to the second floor and put it all in the spare bedroom.

"Relax, peaches. I've done this for years with my own band."

Sven just shook his head and shot the guitarist an amused smile. Such a fucking tart. That scowl though---that was hot. The boy needed to be ravished silly and Sven couldn't help imagine dirty things. Sven grabbed some of the other kit, amps and some bags and hefted it over his own back before following Davy into the apartment.

"Nice place you've got."

He wasn't even responding. The apartment was furnished with basic things but there is a clear clash between Davy's all black, leather and lace aesthetic and Sam's bright, colorful aesthetic.

"It's mine and Sam's." Davy mentioned as he put his guitar cases on the table in the spare room. They would have to make a couple trips to get everything up.

Sven nodded as he put the amps and bags on the same table as where Davy put his guitar cases. There was a decent amount of kit and the singer could understand wanting to store it somewhere safe away from opportune thieves.

"Sam is your drummer, isn't he?"

The Swede hadn't met Sam properly yet but no doubt Ivar would be meeting him back with Syn and the others. It was fun meeting a new band and one like City Charms with a wide range of personalities.

"Yes. He went to school with Sydney." Davy went down to grab the rest of the equipment and the case of clothing that they used for stage.

He just wanted to get this up here and have a drink or nine.

"That's cute. My younger brother is Ulrik and he's around Joey's age."

Sven assisted with carrying up whatever else was needed because he wanted to help Davy and not just stand around staring at him. Drinks could come after because it had been a fun ride so far. Getting slapped seemed to be something of a hobby for the trashy singer.

"You could do with a drink after all what's gone on tonight. I know I could do with one."

Once they got everything was brought up and the car was locked Davy felt a little better but he still wanted to drink.

He went into the kitchen and came out with two glasses and a full bottle of tequila. Davy sat himself down on the couch and poured both of them drinks. "That's the usual around here."

Though most people didn't mess with Davy. Tonight was a different breed.

Sven wiped some sweat from his brow from carrying up the heavy amps and equipment, pulling off his red headband he usually wore and stuffing it into his pocket. He would wash it once he got back to his apartment. The City Charm boys certainly liked their tequila it would seem.

"Tequila? Now, I know I'm in LA. Nice choice, sweetie."

The Swede sat down and appreciated that Davy was willing to share a drink with him and not just throw the singer out back onto the street.

Davy gave Sven a surly look and refilled both of their glasses then started drinking out of the bottle.

"Its Joey always bringing it." He put the bottle down and took off his cowboy boots to be a little more comfortable.

There goes a surly look. Did this guy ever relax and get out of bitch-mode? Sven did wonder but then he was a stranger in Davy's house so this wasn't a surprise. The boy was still in tart mode.

"Nice boots."

Sven noticing Davy's boots and genuinely liked how the boy dressed. Sipping his drink he did wonder how tonight would play out and if he would actually get to kiss the guitarist.

"Thanks." He set his boots aside and went back to drinking out of the bottle.

"If you're going to take over my couch you might as well take yours off." Davy resigned himself to putting up with Sven for the night or at least until he went to sleep.

"You're right. It's rude to wear boots on someone's couch anyway."

Sven nodded and removed his boots and set them aside somewhere close to the couch. Now he could wiggle his feet and take some of the pressure off his toes and sole. Oh, but Davy was so cute! How would the Swede be able to resist kissing him tonight? Sven knew he wouldn't.

"You've got such kissable lips, honey pie. I can't stop staring at them."

Fuck, he wanted to kiss the boy!

Davy stretched his legs out and continued to drink. Glancing over at Sven he has such a bratty look for that comment.

"You can just keep on staring too." Davy might well slap him again, or thought he would feel that way if it happened. After earlier he's not sure he wants to be touched at all.
